Tea and Fruit Pie

Tea and Fruit Pie

This recipe is quick to prepare and taste can vary along with the tea chosen to be part of it … I’ve done it once with the rooibos, another black tea with ginger, the choice is yours!
. 2 egg whites
. 2 egg yolks
. 1 cup brown sugar
. 1/2 cup of honey
. 1/2 cup of corn oil
. 3/4 cup of black tea (or rooibos or other) at ambient °
. 2 and 1/2 cup of rice flour
. 1/2 tablespoon of baking powder
. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
. 3 tablespoons chopped walnuts
. 3 tablespoons seedless raisins
. 1 green apple, grated
Beat the egg whites until stiff. Add the sugar. Add the egg yolks and stir for 1 minute. Add the honey, vanilla and oil, mixing well. Add the walnuts, raisins mixed with flour and yeast. Add stirring the cold tea. Finally add a spoon, gently, grated apple in coarse grater. Pour the mixture into a silicone mold and bring to cook for about 40-50 minutes at 180 ° C. Remove the cake mold when it is already cold.
