Sweet Rice with Raisins

This is a recipe that puts me to childhood, a simple sweet, genuine, my grandmother and my mother often prepared … I like to eat it because it’s still warm creamy … I would say that is a classic winter comfort food: )
. 200 g of rice nano avenue or arboreal
. 500 ml of water
. 1 pinch of salt
. 1 piece of lemon peel or orange bio
. 1 cinnamon stick
. 1 liter of whole milk
. 200g caster sugar
. 50 g raisins
Cook the rice in boiling water, with orange peel, cinnamon and salt, until the water is almost completely absorbed. Add the hot milk mixed with sugar and reduce heat, stirring occasionally, until the rice is cooked, and so the milk is completely absorbed. Halfway through cooking, add the raisins. When ready pour the sweet mini-cups. Serve warm or cold.

. 1 cinnamon stick

. 1 liter of whole milk

. 200g caster sugar

. 50 g raisins
