Yogurt and Chocolate Cake
This is a spongy cake, with a great taste of cacao…you can fill it at your taste or just sprinkle it with icing sugar…(for 10 to 12 slices…)
. 120 g of natural yogurt
. 170 g of wheat flour
. 75 g of sugar
. 40 g of corn oil or olive oil
. 3 eggs
. 1 tbsp of baking powder
. 30 g of cocoa powder
. a pinch of salt
Mix the eggs with salt and sugar until you have a smooth mixture. Add the yogurt and oil and continue to mix. Then add, the sift flour, cocoa powder and baking powder until it’s well mixed. Put it into a baking pan spread with butter and flour and bake in the pre heated oven (180°) for about 40 minutes. Let it cool down and turn it out from the baking pan. When it’s cold sprinkle it with some icing sugar…
you can also cover it with 100g of unsweetened chocolate and 200 g of cream. Heat it until the chocolate melts and cover the cake…you can also fill it with apricot’s marmalade (it will be almost a Sacher Torte!!!)
